The work of Edwin Emmens (1971) is made up of fragments of realism, consisting of photos and images, images of his own or found photographs. Sometimes the image is a single fragment but often it consists of a collage of images. Together they form a new reality in which it deals with contrasts, lines, color, rhythm, abstraction.
