Laura Scheringa

Laura Scheringa graduated at the ABK Maastricht in 2008 and Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2011. Her work is about mainly about landscapes; Rock Formations as a representation of time. Layers that become visible in her artworks. In her latest Pasty collection the textures and colours are more up close. These works are more about layers and textured, but still landscapes are hidden in these pasty artworks. The use of neon pigments is very recognizable in her works and serves as a contrast with the representation of nature and the japanese linen she uses often as a background.
