can I visit OODE?
Yes we have a gallery space in Amsterdam, behind Damsquare. We are open Friday and Saturday 12-17u and other days on appointment.
Shipping: Can I buy the piece and contact you after about shipping?
We have a fixed system that calculates shipping costs. During check out you get an idea of the costs. If you live abroad just contact us for best shipping options, as our system is not able to customize this completely.
Why is tax not calculated on 'orphaned art' pieces?
The margin scheme is a special VAT scheme for used goods, works of art, collectibles and antiques - with a VAT calculation of 0%.
For contemporary artpieces the VAT calculation is 9%.
Are all artworks at OODE listed on the website?
No, we have a SELECTION of artworks online. We have more available artworks at our OODE space.
I am a interior designer looking for art, how does it work?
We can provide a specific digital proposal based on your wishes and moodbook. Our goal is to find new owners of these lost artpieces and support contemporary artists - so we are happy to help. Just contact us or visit our space during openinghours OR on appointment.
Do you put a lot of new works on instagram?
Yes, we try to communicate every week our newest discoveries. Our instagram is a easy medium to quickly show these arrivals.

I want art for my space, can you visit us and make a proposal?
Yes, we have made lots of proposals for private residencies, hospitality and worked with IWG for over 5 years to find (affordable) art for office spaces.
We would love to visit the space and make a digital proposal. Often we don't charge fee for the proposal, we are happy to find new owners for all our artworks at OODE.
What is the average delivery time after purchase?
We try to deliver within 2 weeks. If necessary to have it sooner, leave it in the comment section during checkout.
Where can I find the shipping costs and payment methods?
The shipping costs are calculated for you during checkout and also the payment methods will be presented to you during the checkout process.
Can I pick up my art purchase?
Yes, you can pick up your artwork at the gallery during opening hours and contact us to make an appointment.
How long is the giftcard valid?
The giftcard is valid two years after issue date.
What are conditions for our giftcards?
The giftcard can be used on both orphaned and contemporary art.
Sale items are excluded.
It’s not possible to get money in return.
What is our return policy?
Art bought at OODE is not possible to return for money, we can change within 7 days after purchase. Contact us asap to see what we can do for you.
Online purchases are possible to return 14 days after purchase at OODE.
How long do I have to pick-up my order?
If you buy something online or in the gallery, you are expected to pick up the goods within 2 weeks. If you are not able, it is your own responsibilty to make arrangements with the gallery. This period can be extended to a maximum of 3 months.
We don't refund after this period. Ownership transfers to OODE after the period expires.
